Prof. Zvi Bentwich – Chief Scientist
One of the foremost researchers of AIDS in Israel, Prof. Bentwich was part of the Microbiology, Immunology and Genetics Department and headed the Center for Emerging Tropical Diseases and AIDS at the Ben Gurion University, Beer Sheva. Prof. Bentwich has been a board member and chairman of Physicians for Human Rights, Israel. In 2011 he received a lifetime award from the Israeli Knesset for his contributions to the research of Cancer and AIDS in Israel and for his activities advocating the right to health services for underdeveloped populations.
Dr. Gil Yosef Shachar M.D. – Head of the Rambam Medical Center
Dr. Shachar, a physician and graduate of the Technion, Haifa, specializes in Nutritional Medicine and Natural Healing of Chronic Diseases. He heads the training program for Nutritional Medicine and has trained over one hundred nutritional healers. His approach combines up-to-date scientific knowledge, with a proven, holistic outlook.
Ofir Fogel – Naturopath, therapist, researcher, lecturer and writer
Ofir Fogel researches Healthy Life Extension and the effects of nutrition on the brain, at Assaf HaRofe Hospital and lectures at the Broshim Campus of the University of Tel Aviv. He lectures and takes part in seminars for the medical and other communities as well as for the general public. Ofir Fogel also leads experiential and educational trips to Sardinia and Japan focusing on the healthy people living in these regions, especially centenarians.
He is the author of “Dancing (still) at the age of 100”, “Living Well Now – Secrets from the healthiest centenarians in the world” and co-author with Prof. Carasso of “The Heart – The Complete Guide to Health and Recuperation”.
